Our Covid-19 Safety and Cleaning Protocols

For the protection of Hire A Maid’s clients and employees, all of our staff are wearing face masks and gloves while cleaning. We are also practicing social distancing in clients’ homes.

Hire A Maid cleaners have always been careful about preventing cross-contamination on objects and surfaces when cleaning homes. With our already stringent and detailed cleaning practices, we have been able to easily adapt for COVID-19. This includes our cleaning and disinfection of high touch-point areas in your home.

To effectively clean during COVID-19, Hire A Maid does recommend the use of conventional disinfectant cleaners with microfibre cleaning cloths. In addition, regular clientele supply their own equipment and supplies to eliminate the potential for inter-home cross-contamination.

We actively communicate via email with all clients prior to cleaning appointments to remind them of our policies relating to COVID-19. Specifically, we ask clients to cancel or staff to stay at home if unwell in any way, have travelled recently or have been in contact with anyone suspected of having COVID-19.
